God I love Edmund's more hand-drawn type art style, don't get me wrong I love pretty much all his stuff but the Gish-era art is my favorite it's so good.

I first played the console version of this when I was like 8, it was one of the first games I bought from Gamestop for 14.99 with money I earned walking my neighbor's dog and doing chores. It was a huge influence on my drawing style and creativity in general, because it seemed so raw and homemade. IT showed me that people like me could make things that could be released alongside big budget/mainstream things. It basically made the concept of indie art "click" for me in general as a kid. Thank you Dan and Tom and everyone who worked on this game, it led me to come here too to this website which freaked me out at such a young age but also had a huge impact on me creatively.
